Power and Accuracy
Our DX ServoFeed is a powerful feeding system that combines the strongest attributes of three proven technologies:

  • The Dynamic Feed Gripping System
  • A rotating linear ball screw system
  • An AC brushless servo drive motor

This powerful combination enables the Dynamic ServoFeed to deliver up to three times the pulling force of any comparable size servo feed and provide more torque and gripping power than conventional roll type servo feeds. Low inertia and optimum gear ratio is inherent through the mechanical advantage of the linear ball screw which allows the ServoFeed to operate at high speeds without the use of gears, pulleys, belts or chains.

    Forward/reverse jog control
    Remote jog push button
    Emergency stop button
    Main power switch
RS 232 link for remote programming
    Discrete outputs for user-defined option
Delivers up to 3 times the pulling
Provides more torque and gripping power than conventional roll feeds
Virtually no lost motion between drive and ball-screw provides accuracy between .001" and .002"
Quick set-up time. Requires input of only 2 parameters
    No computer training needed
Jog control allows user to jog through feed cycle for exact feed length
Easily adaptable to special applications requiring special feeding sequences (gag punching or skip feeding)
    High Accuracy Rating
The Dynamic ServoFeed maintains an unprecedented level of efficiency and accuracy even after repeated use. Virtually no lost motion exists between the drive and ball screw which allows the ServoFeed to maintain an accuracy rating of between .001" and .002" (depending on the application).

    Completely Computer Driven
The Dynamic ServoFeed utilizes microprocessor technology and software-user interface techniques to enhance programming capabilities for standard and special applications.

    Auto Gag Sequencing/Skip Feeding
Special feeding sequences can be programmed to achieve varying feed lengths, skips and repetitions. This is ideal for the type of tooling that lends itself to families of parts (parts with same size holes, notches, knockouts or forms, but with different overall lengths or hole locations).

Quick And Easy To Set Up
The DX ServoFeed requires no computer training to operate. The user-friendly keypad walks the user through a simple start up process prompting for two parameter entries, feed progression and strokes per minute.

The feed has been programmed with automatic and manual jog functions allowing the user to jog through a feed cycle to determine exact feed length. Feed length can also be changed on the fly by simply turning the jog switch either forward or reverse to get a preset increment or decrement.

Pull-through straightener mounts directly to the back of the feed.
Additional Feedheads enable stock to be gripped on both edges. Available with hardened knurled, chromed, urethane-coated or chromed shot blast  rollers.
Adjustable Mounting Plate has a hydraulic jack for quick, easy feed height adjustment of +/- 3". OBI presses may require the plate to be shimmed from the bolster to clear the leg of the press.
Top Guard shields the moving carriage on the feed. Easy to install and remove. Rear Guard and Roller guards the thrust rod or motor while supporting incoming material with roller. An additional top roller and/or cascade rolls can be added to introduce material into the feed system.
Pilot Release System releases material where camber is a problem or where the pilot can't pull forward due to material softness. Used for very thin (.020" and less) and narrow material.
Dual Grippers are standard on feeds 15" or wider. They are offered as an option on smaller feeds running 5" wide material at .060" or greater. Standard models can accommodate a maximum width of 36".
Tandem Block provides extra pulling power for thick material that is not wide enough to grip on both edges and requires an extra feedhead. This reduces the total amount of feedlength by 1 3/8".
Bridge Gripper is used for applications requiring greater clamping force or material with non-markable surface. Provides a full-width grip on material up to 12" wide.
